London Drink’s Reception – 21st March 2017

A wonderful evening was enjoyed at The Farmers Club on the banks of the River Thames on Tuesday evening, 21st March. Speeches were made by both the Headmaster, Mark Lauder and the President of the Ashvillian Society, Kirstin Barnes. They both outlined  the importance of the Society and the Old Ashvillian community to the College –  where pupils could always feel they were part of something’ bigger’ – where Ashville’s future was firmly rooted in its past.

The event saw the launch of the search for 14o Inspirational Ashvillians. As part the 140th Anniversary Celebrations (planned for the 2017/18 academic year) the Development Office hopes topublish a book of 14o Inspirational OAs and is asking the OA community to help.

If you know of any Old Ashvillian (alive or deceased) worthy of the title ‘inspirational’ please email the OA office on oa@ashville.co.uk – please see the attached “Search for 140 Inspirational Ashvillians”

Information Update

We are attempting to improve our current database of information on old Ashvillians in the hope that we can put it to better use in future to help both past and present students.

It would be really useful if you could fill in this quick online form with your current details (even if you think we have them).

Many thanks.

Submissions

If you have a story, feature, letter or photograph you would like to submit to the website or the Update, please email Tom.
