Ashville Foundation

This July has seen the launch the Ashville Foundation, set up in order to provide bursaries to future generations.

Ashville College is currently providing financial assistance through bursaries to 29 pupils, and these talented individuals add to the rich community at Ashville College.

The College is keen to extend this assistance so more individuals can benefit and contribute towards an Ashville education.

Ashville Foundation Trustee Peter Holt said:

The Foundation’s aim is to raise as much as possible in the short term to assist parents in this difficult economic climate.

The Trustees are planning a wide range of activities and donor schemes, which they hope will be supported by Old Ashvillians and others who are aware of the benefits an Ashville education has to offer.

In the words of a parent of a current bursary receiver

For a child from a single parent family in one the most deprived wards in the UK to be given the opportunity to develop in an environment like Ashville is the stuff of fairytales. Watching the transformation at Ashville has been a Cinderella story. Without the Ashville Bursary none of this would have been possible and I am eternally grateful for the input, care and commitment that the Ashville College community abundantly give.

If you are able to contribute to the Foundation please download the attached PDF and complete the Ashville Foundation Donation Form.

Information Update

We are attempting to improve our current database of information on old Ashvillians in the hope that we can put it to better use in future to help both past and present students.

It would be really useful if you could fill in this quick online form with your current details (even if you think we have them).

Many thanks.

Submissions

If you have a story, feature, letter or photograph you would like to submit to the website or the Update, please email Tom.

And thank you for your contributions without which the Update would not exist!
