Society Archive

The Society has a large number of items stored and catalogued in our dedicated room on the top floor of the main Ashville building, close to the clock tower and clock. This room is worth a visit for the view alone!

The archives, comprising mostly of papers, photographs, magazines, red books and similar items, also includes a good range of caps, jackets, ties, and other memorabilia. All this is under the care of the Society Archivist Mike Burke.

If you have items to donate to the Society please contact Mike to discuss your items before sending them to him. Mike will be pleased to hear from anyone and he can be contacted by letter, phone or email on the contacts page.

Help Requested
If you live in or near Harrogate could you join Mike to learn where everything is kept and to offer ongoing assistance for the future?

If so, please contact him to discuss. Mike visits Ashville weekly to carry on research into the School history and he will be pleased to meet any OA interested by appointment.

If you would like to see our archives just as a visitor give Mike a call (see Contacts page for details).

The photograph is of Mike (left of the stand) at our Pimms Party at School showing off the Society stand with just a fraction of the extensive material owned by the Society on display. More archive info here.
